The Tec 805 glue gun is an economical, powerful hot melt glue gun perfect for upgrading from an entry-level crafting gun to a mid-range superstar.
This gun outperforms many other guns in its class with its clean, effective design and simple-to-use footprint. The Tec 805 glue gun heats up in under 3 minutes and has an adjustable full-hand trigger that can dispense hot melt at almost 4lbs per hour.
An illuminated on/off switch lets you know when the gun is on and hot while the detachable glue gun stand doubles as a nozzle spanner and stores an additional trigger adjustment screw.
The Tec 805 hot glue gun uses standard 1/2" hot glue sticks allowing it to work with almost any of the Hotmelt.com standard temperature products. The Tec 805 is also available in a 5/8" stick version.

United States15 years later they still work great!
I have the Tec 250 and later purchased the Tec 305 that has illuminated on/off switch. I use both guns when I want to use different colors of glues. These guns are high quality, offer different sizes and types of gun heads/shapes. Will continue using these guns for as long as they last.
NOT the kind you're used to!
If you have one or more of these things from the hobby or big box stores, you'll be in for a BIG surprise! These cost a few bucks more, but the performance is tenfold. They get quick almost instantly, they are FAR more comfortable to use and I'm in love with mine!
TEC 805
Good.It stood firm and steady on its stand, heated up quickly and was used to attach a homemade base to a garden bird-bath. The plastic rim had broken on the pedestal of the birdbath, and I repaired it with plywood-to-plastic glue placement. It has been fully successful to date. I wait with interest to see how it will withstand our next Canadian winter.

I needed this gun for some light duty electronics work and I'm pleased with the quality and design. The built in stand is very convenient and the long AC cord is appreciated. Heats quickly and dispenses easily. Much better quality than the trash at the local dollar store.
