Power Adhesives TEC 3400 Hot Melt Gun Overview
The TEC 3400 industrial glue gun is the culmination of years of research and development on glue gun technology from Power Adhesives. The TEC 3400 replaces the wildly popular TEC 3200 and offers a number of nice upgrades. This industrial hot melt applicator uses 1 3/4" (43mm) glue slugs and is all electric which means you do not need an air compressor to run it. This is one of our best selling hot melt guns and a staff favorite.
New in the TEC 3400
Digital Temperature Microcontroller
Internally, the 3400 uses a patent board which offers superior heating and bonding performance, even when compared to the old 3200. Also included are removable plug-in modules (PIMs) offering precision temperature control.
Higher Output and Longer Tool Life
Because of the controller mentioned above, the TEC 3400 maintains better temperature causing less stress to the gun and gives it faster response when it's time to dispense glue.
It's a Smart Gun
The TEC 3400 knows when you are dispensing faster and more often and boosts power to the heater to catch up with the increased demand.
It's an Eco Friendly Gun
During periods of non-use, the TEC 3400 automatically reduces the temperature until finally the gun is switched off after 2 hours. Pulling the trigger will restart the gun and it will quickly regain temperature for use.
It Can Diagnose Problems
This is one of the most dependable industrial glue guns on the market. If there ever is an issue, the TEC 3400 can now detect errors and notify the user using a flashing indicator light to insure safety to the user and any additional damage that may be caused to the gun.

Very good for our applications. Using two different glues at different temps and gun is holding up well! Only issue we faced is one of our guns is finnicky when heating up. It’s gotta be perfectly upright and can’t be moved at all or else it won’t heat up.

TEC 3400 Pretty Much Rocks
My husband was going to go with a less expensive, less heavy duty glue gun and I talked him into it because the reviews were good on it and I thought it would hold up better for our business. Just yesterday he turned around, glue gun in his hand and uttered those lovely words, "You were right." We love how you can adjust the temperature and it's not a messy gun where the tip builds up glue and drips after releasing the trigger. It's a solid choice.
