Black Electrical Potting Epoxy Adhesive Overview
The Infinity Bond EP 270 is a black two-part epoxy primarily used for electrical potting. EP 270 is perfect for small to medium-sized castings. This electrical grade epoxy encapsulant has a work-life of 60 minutes. Each cartridge comes with 2 static mixing nozzles for efficient dispensing.
EP 270 has a shear strength of 1,800-3,000 psi and cures quickly at room temperature to a tough, semi-rigid polymer. It is a noncorrosive material and has very good resistance to water, acids, bases, and most organic solvents. It has a pot life of 20-30 minutes and will reach full cure at room temperature in around 24 hours.
How to Dispense Black Electrical Potting Epoxy
Use a cartridge gun for dispensing 50ml and 400ml cartridges. Cartridge guns are lightweight, reliable and a perfect low-cost option for dispensing two-part epoxy adhesives.
