Glue Machinery Champ Stick 400 Glue Gun Overview
The Champ 400 Industrial Glue Gun is a hard working medium duty tool that holds up under tough conditions. It uses 1/2" hot melt glue sticks and stroke adjuster to precisely calculate the volume and heat of the hot melt being dispensed. The Champ 400 also works with a number of different hot melt nozzle adapters to adjust to specific applications.
The Champ Stick 400 has an adjustable temperature control and comfortable four finger trigger making it both versatile and easy to use. It uses 1/2" glue sticks and weighs in at just under 2 lbs. At 400 Watts, the Champ Stick can keep up with mid to high volume applications.

This Champ Stick 400 was purchased to apply packaging hot glue to custom made cardboard boxes. The boxes have a flap that is approximately 1.5" wide and up to 40" long that is used to join the box together and form the sides from the scribed and folded cardboard. A bead of glue is applied all the way around the edges of the flap plus a zig-zag pattern over the middle. This requires just about a full 12" stick of glue and it must be done quickly so the glue does not set before the bond can be made. This powerful glue gun easily extrudes an adequate amount of glue in just a matter of seconds to accomplish this task. It also has a nice long power cord. Recommended!
