AXCO AX-360 Handgun Hot Melt Applicator

AXCO introduces versatile 360° rotation extrusion handgun. AXCOs new AX-360 Handgun is an applicator for manually dispensing hotmelt adhesives for packaging, product assembly and sealant applications. Designed for use on manually operated hotmelt units, the lightweight, easy-to-maneuver handgun comes attached to a heated supply hose.

Operator Friendly

The AX-360 Handgun is ergonomically designed to limit operator fatigue and risk of injury. Weighing less than two pounds, all heated components and adhesive flow paths are completely enclosed within the gun shell, allowing the operator to comfortably handle the gun. The on/off safety trigger lock feature further ensures a safe work environment.

Durable and Flexible

With an impact-resistant molded shell, the AX-360 will provide an extended service life. The 360° swivel connector allows rotation about the supply hose - eliminating hose twisting. This complete rotation feature increases operator comfort and productivity allowing continuous gluing in any direction or operator position. Whatever your packaging needs, the AX-360 will give you the flexibility to extrude low and high viscosity hotmelts with ease.

Universal Usage

The AX-360 can be retrofit for usage with most Nordson®, AXCO, HMT®, ITW/DynatecTM and Slautterback® hotmelt units. Internal and external handgun parts are compatible with Nordson® AD-31 and Slautterback® L4 handguns, and are available for immediate shipment.

Availability

The AX-360 is available at either 120V or 240V, with an 8, 12 or 16 foot supply hose and 0.04" standard nozzle. Select either RTD sensor with solid state temperature controller or thermostat with regular or extended temperature range to control gun temperature. Temperature control of the heated hose is by an adjustable thermostat or solid state controller. An optional switch controls the pump motor with the gun trigger for selected applications.
