Reka TR 700 Polyurethane Glue Gun Overview
The Reka TR700 glue gun is one of our most popular dispensing units for polyurethane (PUR) hot melt adhesives. It offers a pneumatic air assist for consistent, effortless dispensing. The TR 700 runs at 250 degrees F and does allow for temperature control.
The TR700 applicator applies PUR in a bead form and does not allow for temperature adjustments like some of the other Reka PUR guns.
Optional Reka 2270 Gun Base
Choose to upgrade your Reka TR 70 LCD to include a gun base with an air regulator. This industrial base provides stability to your workspace while remaining functional and easy-to-use. The pneumatic glue applicators from Reka can be quickly and safely parked on this stand. The integrated pressure gauge for the compressed air allows the adhesive output to be adjusted directly at the workstation.
A Little Information on PUR Hot Melt
Polyurethane adhesive offers a number of advantages over traditional hot melt products. PUR hot melt offers a strong initial bond which then strengthens over time as it continues to react and cure with moisture in the air. The Reka gun takes standard PUR 10 ounce cartridges.
* Pro Tip - use a PUR preheater to bring adhesive up to temp before dispensing and eliminate down time between cartridge changes.
