Power Adhesives Tackfix 48 Hot Melt
The Power Adhesives Tackfix is an amazing alternative to nailing down carpet tack strips. This acrylic hot melt is fast setting, strong, and adheres to almost any surface including metal, stone, brick, ceramic, wood, concrete, and cement board. No special tools are needed as this adhesive can be applied with a traditional hot glue gun.
We offer the Tackfix carpet tacking glue in three sizes, including 1 lb or 11 lbs. Our 1-lb pack is great for testing purposes, but you are going to get your lowest cost on the material with the 11-lb pack.
We recommend taking a look at the Gastec 600 cordless glue gun that gives you the freedom to move around the room without having to be near an electrical outlet. These two products complement each other nicely when installing carpet.
