We reviewed the Tec 3200 hot glue gun made by Power Adhesives. We were impressed by this heavy-duty applicator. The temperature module is a great way to ensure your gun is at the correct temperature for your hot melt. The output of the Tec 3200 makes this gun the perfect fit for mid- to high-volume applications.

Tec 3200 Setup:
Simply pull back on the plunger to load the hot melt adhesive slug. If need be use the feed adjustment knob to adjust the plunger to make room to insert the adhesive.
Once you have the adhesive slug in place, just plug it in and in about 5 minutes you are ready to go. This industrial adhesive applicator is nice because there is no need to plug it into an air compressor.
Tec 3200 In Action:
This product is so easy to use. We were pleasantly surprised by how far we got on one trigger pull. We applied about a 1/8-inch bead and were able to go for 48 inches per trigger pull. This hot glue gun is pretty light for its size weighing in at just 2.5 lbs. The electrical cord for this gun is about 10 feet long giving you some room to move around.
Conclusion:
This industrial hot melt applicator is a workhorse. We love that the Tec 3200 is easy to use and automatically switches to standby mode when the glue gun is idle for an extended period of time. The two indicator lights on the top of the gun indicate power-on with red and standby with yellow.
The temperature-changing module plug-ins make it so easy to keep the gun at the correct temperature for your selected adhesive. The only thing that is a bit disappointing is that the gun comes with 3 of the 5 temperature modules, PA3026 (for standard melt), PA3023 (for low melt), and PA3027 (for Polymides). However, the additional temperature modules for 160 degrees C (PA3024) and 180 degrees C (PA3025) are available at a minimal cost.
